When I got up for my 20 mile ride/1 mile run brick this morning, I really wasn’t feeling it. So rather than fret about my speed or stamina, I gave myself a fun bloggy reason to stop and smell the roses…errrr, take some photos! Here’s what my workout looked like today:
Pretty cheerful considering it’s not even 6 am.
That’s the moon setting in the distance. In real life it was so huge I felt like I could reach out and touch it!
Shadow pictures crack me up, with my huge shoes and wheels and teeny, tiny pinhead.
Wild Turkey Mama and her baby drumsticks! This is actually the same field that is pictured above, just from a different street. My route this morning was a 5-mile loop that I circled four times. Yes, it’s boring, but it’s close to home and has mostly right turns, so I don’t get stopped very much. Unless I’m taking pictures of turkeys.
All done with my ride, time to get running!
The beautiful paved nature trail that is right across the street from my house – I am such a lucky girl!!
Turnaround point. I was soooo glad to be on my way home, I swear this was one of the longest miles I’ve ever run.
It wasn’t especially fast, but I got ‘er done. Note the 6-minute transition time, lol!
The Great Big Bloggy Post Exchange update: I’m so excited with the turnout so far for my Bloggy Post Exchange!! Some of my favorite bloggers have joined the fun – how about you?????
Great workout! Mine will be a long run on the tready at lunch!

awesome workout! I love that in the last shot you can see the shadow of you taking a picture of yourself 🙂
Nice workout and great pics. I wore those exact shoes on my sweaty, awesome run this morning!
Blog exchange? What’d I miss?
What a great workout! I enjoyed the pics and I’m very jealous your running route!
Great workout and pics! I totally do that when I’m not feeling one of my long runs and have gotten some good nature shots.
I simply love your pigtail braids!
I nominated you for the fun Q&A that’s going around!!
Wow, way to go! I love the “drumsticks.”
Only 970 calories? A workout like that should be way more – all you can eat more!!
Great workout, by the way.

This is so great!! 🙂 Nice workout!
(I sometimes get lost in my shadows too… running with the sun is setting is my fave because my shadow is soooo long and I will never look so lanky and skinny!)
