I’ve showed you pictures of my craptastic garage before, much to my embarassment. It’s pretty utilitarian, holding all the junk we can’t keep in the house. Check out how many changes it’s gone through over the years:
Pre-Phase One. This was taken before we moved in, when we were still thinking of buying the house, so (thankfully) none of this crap is mine. But you can see how unfinished everything looks.
Phase One, where the walls are painted but everything that had two wheels was also motorized.
Phase Two, when we started selling the motorized two-wheelers and collecting the pedal-powered kind (this was the photo IronHubs put on craigslist to get rid of the motorcycle). In the background, you can see the boys’ tiny little bikes and Old Bessie, the $30 Pacifica from Toys R Us that I trained with for my first triathlon!
Phase Three (taken from an angle that makes the garage look ridiculously clean), where every available space is filled with bicycles. Ahhh, now that’s better, but I think it’s still missing something…
The Final Phase (still in progress), where you can tell at a glance that the people who own this garage are serious about racing!
IronHubs is still on vacation this week and surprised me by completing this project while I was at work today – I love it!! These old bibs, photos and medals were just languishing in drawers, but now they all have a place of pride where every time I come home I can’t help but smile.

I haven’t kept most of my bibs. Some of my medals are on display. It’s new I should take a pic and post it. I have some bibs in a scrapbook – very informal one – mostly a record of times etc. I love it, it’s just for me.
I’m currently in shock over all the bikes. You look like a bike shop to me!
My B2B 2011 finisher’s medal is hanging on the floor lamp next to my bed. I think I still have the bib…somewhere. Maybe I should think about a spot for those, after I finish a couple more races.

My medals are in a drawer but all my bibs are hanging in my workout room in the basement!
I like the idea of hanging bibs in the garage with my bike! Right now, I have a board I put them on in my room, but it is overflowing…
